I've never lost the chain, the tensioner does the job fine.

It only cost me around £800 to build, so I'd say it was a good price. Are you going the same way because you like dirt more?

I sold it for £445. Sold it because I just find street and park just plain boring, and because I needed the money to build the Rampant. I prefer dirt as it's more creative, plus I got my own trails so I can build what ever I want.

It's a Yess ETR-D, best tensioner in my opinion.

Ah right well it's an amazing all rounder bike. I'm running 100mm up front and the fork's a2c is about 475mm which is perfect.

They are amazing to jump. And the suspension platform does ride well on DH, but I don't think it's worth having a frame like this is DH is want you wan to be doing on it.

Yeah sure. The Maxle is plenty strong enough and so is the crown.

Yep rutlandcycles off Ebay. I think they would hold up just fine for street, I'd use them.

Well this revelation does have the Power Buldges and a redesigned crown/lowers which looks strong enough to me.

Not in the slightest, My Revs feel much stiffer then my Pikes.

Yep pretty much ahah. It only weighs 3.85lbs and is actually really stiff, as I've got a load of extra lapping stanchions and the fork has the power bulges, 20mm axle and a fairly beefy looking crown.

150mm and they come with 2 20mm spacers in the box, so you'll still have to get a All Travel Spacer kit to get it lower. It's also very easy to lower, I thought it would be pretty hard but it wasn't.

I got these for £350 brand new and lowered them, that's about £175 off the retail price.

Going to get a lighter chain, just got this one as a temp. And maybe an Avid Elixer CR as the lever on this Shimano is quite big and almost hits the top tube.

Basically it rides like a hard-tail but has some sus to take out the harshness and generally smooth out the ride.

Lowering the 36 would be silly, if I where to make the 36 have the same height of the DJ1 it would only have 70mm which is stupid on a bike like this.
Well actually I'm always short of money, I pretty much built this bike up by selling old parts and saving birthday and christmas money.

The tyres are great I've been DHing with them and freeriding in this slate quarry, the slate is seriously sharp and they where fine, didn't get any punctures.

The 2010 are £349 and I'm getting them in Purple as it seems the only colour being brought into the UK. I might get a Purple Atlas FR bar to match.

Because the a2c on the 36 is huge compared to a the DJ1, main reason for swapping the fork is to lower the front end. Plus I've always been a fan of Marzocchi.

The fork ain't staying on, it's an old one I had laying about (It needs a good service and some internals replacing). It will weight more as this fork is heavier then the 36. I'm getiing a 2010 DJ1 and going single speed again in a couple of days.

Just get a blow torch and use that to dry the wood out when you want to hit it.

I use a Yess ETR-D although their ETR-V version will work with a full sus as well. They are amazing cause you can set up the tension by move the spring into different holes so you can get the perfect chain tension.

Na medium format (120), the negatives got messed up when they were being developed and were all blue so I had a big task of restoring the colour, that's why it looks so heavily photoshoped.

I ride it at my own trails (there's only 1 ridable jump atm, but I've finished the new landing and I just need to get some wood now to build the launch and clear some more dirt) and many freeride spots around my area.

Mad? I'm selling to replace them with something with a lower A2C.

Lol, they are lowered, to 100mm. Although the A2C on Foxs forks are quite a bit bigger then other forks, so the front feels a bit high. But I'm going to sell the 36 and get a 2010 Marzocchi DJ1 or I'll serivce my pike.
